I was thinking about it last night, and I am considering getting another kitten to play with my kitten boots. She is home by herself most of the day now, and I feel like she may need a companion?

Do you think it would be any harder to care for two kittens, rather than just one?

no - i actually think it's easier, in that they play w/each other & keep themselves occupied. it's more expensive - more vet bills, larger food bills - but i'll never intentionally own a single cat again.

or possibly even a bit older - say, 3-4 months. s/he'll still be a kitten, but not as baby-cute, therefore less likely to be adopted. s/he can also help teach your kitten 'proper' cat etiquette!

I just got a new kitten that is 4.5 months now.
A 4 month old kitten is a good idea.
My kitten plays roght with my 2.5 year old Sasha and 1.5 year old Oreo.
She will not be lonely with a new kitten.
