I saw a cat that I fell in love with from the picture. I wrote the humane society offering to foster her and to be updated on her status if they were to even think about putting her to sleep.

Here is her picture http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/dis...petid=12246427

I can't stop thinking about her.....My husband is going to kill me!

I stay off there because I feel bad for the cats.
There are 2 sphynx that need to be fostered.
I wanted to do it but my husband said no.
He wont let me get a dog either.
If I did foster them they would not go back.
One is 9 and the other is 7 I think. I hope your husband lets you get the cat.

awww she's cute. She looks alot like Toby. I know what you mean about petfinder. I have the same problem. I keep finding more cats I want to adopt. It's so hard to forget them once you see their sweet faces and read their stories.

I also have the same problem. I fell in love with a gray short haired oriental female a few days back. Hubby said NO WAY lol. I try to be realistic. I can afford every day care for another one but I do worry about vet bills. Plus my 3 boys get along really well. A female might upset the apple cart lol. It is hard though. If I ever win Powerball I will definately be having a huge house that is 3/4 dedicated to cats.....I dream about that day lol

I woke my husband up last night to ask him about the cat I found. This is an emotional time of year for me because I lost my favorite soul cat 4 years ago Dec 22. Then I have to go on Pet finder and it tears me up. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and this little girl has such big beautiful sweet eyes. Maybe somebody will fall in love with her like I did.

Ace is coming home with us on Wednesday!!!! I put a hold on her. What is really odd is she was declawed but never spay by her owners. She was relinquished to the human society because her owners had way to many animals. She came to the shelter with another cat who was adopted out 30 days ago and she has been very lonely since then.

Happens all the time, unfortunately.
People declaw first to save their furniture, but can't afford to get them fixed at the same time....and then they just "never get around to" spaying them.

Congrats on bringing her home!

I had to really talk to him about her. I actually got teary eyed. I don't know why I got so emotional over this little cat. Something is really pulling at my heart strings to bring her home. It's got to be something that is meant to be

Post some pics when you get her.
I am excited to bring her home. I hope my little thugs are on good behavior. My senior cats will just say "Oh god she brought home another cat" The abyssinians are really good sports when it comes to a newcomer. I hope Zoey takes to her in time. They are the same age. I will take pictures but I still have an old fashioned camera so I will have to get film developed. I was supposed to get a gift certificate for my 5 year anniversary at work 3 months ago and I was going to get a digital camera... I'm still waiting on them!!

We will pick her up at 1pm (cst) tomorrow. I hope the snow stays away! She is 60 miles away.
