I have an all white exotic shorthair persian. His eye stains are bad and I have ordered Eye Envy for him. I was wondering why the eyes "leak" so much? Why is the staining such a yellow color?

Their facial structure causes the eyes to leak, I think it's bacteria that makes the tearing turn brown.
You can buy special kitty eye wipes that are good for the tearing/staining of kitties with eye issues. It's common in the "doll face" breeds. These wipes work pretty well, although my Squirt thinks she needs to re-wash her face afterwards. LOL
