My sister got Maui as a kitten and has had nothing but problems with her chewing stuff up.
She will be 3 in April.
We know why she is like that.
The people that had her let her chew everything and never stopped her.
They thought it was funny when she chewed up thier cable.
She also was only 8 weeks when we took my sister to get her.
She chewed up my sisters phone cord and phone last night.
She has chewed up so many things already. The list is to long to post.

My cat has chewed on a few phone cords too.

The thing about cats is, they have a natural curiosity in them.

No matter how well you train your cat. Once something catches it's attention. It will automatically want to investigate it.

So, what you might need to do is, hide all the wires and things away so the cat can't get it to and notice it.

Even the phone. Put the phone in a high place.

Bitter Apple spray on cords, shoe laces, etc has always worked well for us. Has your sister tried spraying the cords with it? Or she can get the plastic cord protectors.

I was just going to suggest the same thing. There are plastic cord protectors that look like fish tank tubing. All of my cats have been chewers, but grew out of it. Lucky for us Lola focuses her chewing on toys. Stimpy damaged a fish tank hood when he was younger. Bitter apple spray and cord protectors are the best bet.
