And it is still coming down. Right now, looking out my home office window - it's so dense it looks like fog. I would say 6-8 inches already on the ground and it's not supposed to stop until about 4 pm. Needless to say, I am not going anywhere.

This is what it looked like out the front door about a half-hour ago:

poor little mini Alberta spruce tree!

Yep, there's tons of snow coming down here too!

This is my bedroom window:

This is my balcony. There was a bedraggled little cardinal hanging out under the feeder:

And my super display of Christmas lights

Last night the windowsills had no snow on them at all.

I'm so glad my cat isn't in that after I adopted her.

I can't imagine my cat in that snow in the cold.

My cat loves a nice warm house and that's the way I like it.

it's Blizzarding here. 10-15 cm expected today and another 10-15 tonight.
I am begining to get tired of this.

I think i'm going to look into moving to a warmer climate.

It's in the 60s now but will be dropping as the afternoon goes on.

Good idea to stay in. Grab and kitty and cuddle.

You can keep the snow! We had some earlier this week, then it froze over and rained, and that froze over. Last night it all melted. Our temperatures have been up and down for the last 2 weeks.

Stay warm and safe everyone!

Blizzard warning for the weekend here. Not too much more snow ( have maybe 6-8" right now)....but it'll be blowing like crazy. All the snow we've gotten is the light fluffy stuff, too!

We have a huge snowstorm here as well. Started at 8am in the Toronto area and has not stopped. We're supposed to get up to 20cm tonight, another storm pushes through Sunday and another possible one on Tuesday. I guess we're going to have a white Christmas!

One news report referred to it as Snowmaggedon.

Yes I heard that report as well. We started off okay this morning, very cold -17C with a wind chill of -28 C however that changed around 1 P.M. when the snow started. As of 1/2 hour ago we are sitting at -19C with high winds, making it feel like -31 blowing snow, white out conditions and severe storm warnings. It's suppose to keep up until late tomorrow and another storm is right behind it.
I feel sorry for anyone who has to far to travel for the holidays. I am going to my brothers but that is only like a 1/2 hour away. I do have family driving in from London, Kitchener and Toronto so we will have to wait and see if they make it.
It's incredible the amount of snow we have gotten so far this season and winter doesn't even officially start until tomorrow.
