Okay so, a few minutes ago, I heard my two cats playing with something on the floor. I looked over and Spock had a silica gel package in his mouth!!!! I ran over there and got it before he chewed it, but the package was wet, and there were little teeth marks in it. I don't think they punctured it, but I looked throughout the house and found one more, same thing. Wet, but not punctured. Will this harm them? Should I be alarmed? I know if they eat it it could do major damage, but what happens if they just chew on the package and don't puncture it? I'm nervous, and my vet is closed, so I can't call them. Please answer asap. Thanks.
