Eye gunk

Is it normal for cats to have goo from their eyes? marley has always had eye gunk when he wakes up, and sometimes it just appears. guess it's just like us but not sure?? he has always had it since he was a kitten and his eyes seem to be watery, but again they have always been that way. he has been to the vet and the vet says hes fine.

Are his eyes weeping? Or are they just little crusties at the corners? If it's the latter it's normal but any weeping that's not just tears (not clear) could indicate a problem.

Possibly eye entropion brought on by herpies?

hmmm....well, mostly just crusties but if hes not been asleep sometimes he has goo that isn't clear and it's not tears. It's a faint yellow...
