Sick kitty

Im actually posting for a friend who has a sick kitty and the vets around here dont seem to give a damn. Kitty is around 6 months old and has been very sick. Lethargic and wasnt eating much at one point. It would hack like it had a fur ball. After 2nd trip to vet they gave shot of antibiotic and kitty seemed to perk up but week later, back to acting weird. He sorta wheezes like maybe an allergy and last night, he just fell over. He made thru night but family is very concerned and dont know where to turn at this point. Anybody have any idea what might be up with this kitty?

I would try and find a different vet even if I had to travel abit. Maybe Asthma? Thats just a guess.I would get the kitty to a vet today even if it means having to return to the vet that has all ready seen the kitty. Be firm and and insist on them taking a chest x-ray to see if its asthma.
