Does anyone here know about dreams? My hubby occasionally has terrifying nightmares and literally wakes up shrieking at the top of his lungs. I feel bad for him, but I need to help him with this because it is horribly terrifying for me to be awakened by the person sleeping next to me shrieking at the top of his lungs. I actually have to hit him multiple times and yell his name over his shrieking before he wakes up. Then I don't sleep for the rest of the night. How do I get him to stop this? I can't get him to really remember too much about the dreams, but the one recurring thread that appears every time this happens is that he is trying to pretect me from being attacked by either demons or a large purple monster. Please help! I couldn't even sleep in the same room as him last night because I was terrified of this happening again. It is a horrible way to be awakened out of a dead sleep.
