When my dishwasher died, I discovered that it was a rather odd size, no longer made. Or, it was a portable that had been adapted to go under a counter. Either way, no new washer would fit in the spot without majorly revamping the cabinets. So, I installed rotary shelving and a door and made it another cabinet. Then, I bought a counter top portable dishwasher, and put it on a nice rollaway trolley so that I could store it out of the way.
