Does Everyone understand PM's (Private Messages?)

We are getting so many new members, thought it would be a good idea to explain PM's in case some don't know about them, or may not be aware of them.

If you go up to the top of your screen you will see a bunch of tag boxes- one says user cp. Click there.

You will see New Private Messages It will tell you if you have any new ones there. or, you can click on the far right hand side where it says Private Messages. Then you will see Inbox-Sent- Message Tracking.

Periodically, you need to clean out your PM's from the very beginning so they don't get all clogged up. If they are full, then whoever is trying to get ahold of you gets a message saying that your box is full and you need to clean it out.

Cleaning it is easy. Where it says Show Messages, just click on from the beginning, then go there and start deleting. Do that in Sent box, in the Inbox and in Message Tracking. Very important to clean these out!!!!!!!!!!

Might be a good idea for you to go there now and see what kind of shape it is in. Make sure you have read all the messages before you delete them too!

You can also set your control panels so that you get an email notification if someone sends you a PM. On the main forum index, if you scroll to the bottom, you can see if you have any new PMs there too.

Mine are getting cleaned , I only receive a few PM's a week , So mine are easy to keep track of!

Not to my knowledge, no they do not as they are private messages and not on the public board.
