My grandfather passed away early Saturday.
I have to go back a few days to make this make sence to everyone. I have been very worried bout my brother because he has blood clots in his shoulder and He is in the hospital I have been kinda ingnoreing the other concers in my life... well maybe not ignoreing but i's been in autopilot.
On Friday at lunch I came home to check on the dog because my parents had gone into the city to see my brother at the hospital. So I was leaving after lunch and had a brain fart that I had forgotten to close the garage door so I turned around to go back to the house.
Now the roads were not the best there was a strip of ice down the center since the last now storm because of this I was driveing very carefully. I was pulling onto the road that my house is on when my back tire grabed the edge of that piece of ice and sent me flying. I ended up going through a large snowbank and my car was sitting on top of the stop sighn at the end of the road. I was of course in shock but this wouldn't normally be a problem I would normally get dad to come with the tractor to pull me out. But no... Dad's in the city so I used my roadside assistance and waited. The OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) ended up snowing first because of the damage to the stop sighn. The tow truck showed up and pulled me off the sighn. No charge and I was able to get back to work after a 2.5 hour lunch.
Also on Friday at 11:30 mom got the call to go to the hospital my grandfather had been taken into the hospital that afternoon with problems with his cathiter. We got the call at 12:30 that Grandpa had died. he had gotten up to go to the bathroom and we arn't sure if it was a hear attach, stroke or somthing else but he hit the floor and never work up. We are planning the funeral now.
