Hello everyone! I'm Mandy, a lifelong cat lover! I was born loving cats but had dog lover parents.
When I was 9 we moved to a farm where I could have outdoor cats . . and over the next 6 years I had "collected" about 12 that came and went. When I was 15 we had an outdoor cat who got sick and I convinced my mom to let me bring her in the house . . only until she got better.
My mom fell in love with her too, and she became my first house cat. That was Honey and she was my soul mate until she passed away from feline luekemia. I was broken hearted and waited until I was 21 to get another cat . . that's when I got my calico's, Cammie and Frisky. They are now 9 yrs. old and are best friends to me and my husband!
Several times over the past few years I've come by this message board for advice on behavior and food issues, but I've never posted. I figured it was about time! I can't wait to "meet" some of you and share some stories, and I have a question I'm posting it in the health section. I hope to talk to some of you soon!
