lovemykitty3 - thank you

Leslie - thanks, Persians are very unique aren't they. I absolutely love your siggy!!

Beth - I'm so sorry about Tippy. Thanks for your kind words about my Jazz, she was just a year younger than me so we grew up together.

Jan - I don't even know where to begin!!!! Firstly I've just read about your Mom and I'm so sorry, I can't imagine your pain. Big hugs for you!!! Ari has definitely grown up and who's this Topaz I now spot!!?! So nice to see you.

Miss Mew - thank you. Great to see you again also!!

Julianne - thank you for your post. I love your SA inspired siggy, have I missed something about you moving to London or have you been there for years?!

Hi Rigel,
I just checked my profile and I tried to reply so let me know if it comes through.
Are visitor messages and PM's the same? or is 18 still too young to have PM's?
Thanks for the messages Rigel

Nice to see you again Sam, welcome back!

Sorry to hear about your dog, it's always so hard.

You still have some of the most beautiful kitties.

You sure have nice cats.
My sister is looking for a persian breeder.
She would like to get a persian next year.
I just got my purebred sphynx a few days ago.
Can you give me more infos on persians so I can tell my sister?

Visitors messages are ones that can be seen by anyone, so if you want to say something private to another member don't post it there
And you should be ok to get pm's now your 18, if not let us know

Good grief your 18, i remember you when you were little

Welcome back Sam!!! Holy cow - this is such a blast from the past!

Just FYI, the minor setting had to be manually switched since Sam used to be a minor posting here but has since reached legal age.
I redid those settings this afternoon and Sam can now send and receive PMs (and post in IMO if she wants to jump into that frying pan!). I sent her a PM to verify it was working, but this way she can have plenty of PMs waiting for her when she signs back on.

Hi Sam, Welcome back. I hope you still remember me. I've been wondering where you were. I'm sorry to read about your Jazz. I know it was a hard and painful experience in your life.

Now that you've come back, I hope you stay. I always enjoyed your stories and pictures about your cats, as well as your life in Wellington.

Arlyn - thanks for your welcome back and your kind words about my beautiful old girl Jazz.

Laureen - thanks for posting those links for me. I love the stories about their adoptions. Some of the names cracked me up though, who would want to call a cat monitor? I thought link and click were quite cute names. It's always hard adopting cats into cat familys rather than kittens but I assume Chip settled in OK?

Looking at baby Firefox's pictures I actually thought she looked older than 4 weeks, but just so undernourished, poor wee thing, she looks absolutely gorgeous in your siggy, so well done a testament to your care for her.

Sandra - thanks for your post. Really lovely to see you!

mews2much - Congratulations on Cleo your sphynx, I know you love her. She's really gorgeous. Depends what she wants to know about Persians? Maybe she could travel to a cat show with you and talk to breeders face to face? I'm in New Zealand, so can't be much help except answer questions by email. I've only got 1 Persian, the rest are Exotics, they are my real love. Thanks for your email.

Susan - thanks for clearing that up about visitor messages. I posted one to Mary Anne when I first checked in, to say hi, don't know how to check if I have a reply though but I did get my first PM from Heidi! It's good to come back and feel so welcome, I know that maybe I wont get the chance to check in everyday and answer every post like I used to but it's nice to be here. Thanks so much.

Jan - nice to know you were going to PM me, feel free to try now!!

Heidi - thanks again! I think I will avoid posting in IMO, but I've always loved to read it. Infact I think I spend more time on the computer at TCS reading who was a democrat and who was a republican during the elections than I did studying!!

Hi Hope!! Could never forget you and Simba's crazy antics. Infact your website link was one of the first I went to when I got back and saw Stanley the Persian and got all teary eyed. He was so gorgeous!!!! Thanks for your post.

Sharky - thanks for your post. I'm glad you like my babies.

yes, he's settled in pretty well - Cable still feels the need to assert her 'queen' status w/him from time to time, but that's about it. Firefox really turned out to be a blessing for him, tho - she LOVES him to pieces, & he finally has a cat that will snuggle with him! the vet thought she might be older, as well - but i am pretty sure about the time period when she was born... could be a week or so off, but not much more than that.

Oh your cats are gorgeous!
So sorry to hear about Jazz.

Your kitties remind me of someone (not my favourite person right now). She owns a male Classic Exotic Shorthair, and he was the most beautiful boy who sired unknown number of litters. I saw him recently, and gosh he looked horrible! His fur was stringy and limp and basically he looked about 15 years old. She was saying how he's not handsome anymore because he's old, so I asked how old, and she said FIVE! I nearly died from shock. Turns out she's feeding him Sc Diet and I don't think she knows much about taking care of cats' health. I feel so sorry for that poor guy

Oh that's good - probably since she was such a poor little scrap!

So nice to see you
