Since the kittens were adopted after I took a really cute picture of them for a ‘Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is someone to take me home and love meâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] advert I decided to try again with sweet Daytona, who is not so sweet (well he is a darling, just not with Santa)

He started off so well

Then he seen Santa

and went in for the kill

and then he got tired and posed like I told him to

and with the help of a feather he ignored Santa for a second

I am sorry to say that Santa suffered some minor cuts and bruises in this attack as well as a rather large and deep 3" cut on his leg and Daytona has lost the chance at being our newspaper advert cat

And silly me, just after these photos I decided to bath him as he was stinky and had a dirty bottom, he kept trying to bite me through that too

I know, I sent an email to the other staff/directors at the shelter asking if Daytona went out for a joyride to try and kill the 'real' santa instead of a stuffed one
Needless to say, Daytona, if not adopted, will spend this weekend at the other end of the shelter from Pet Pics with Santa
