Morning peeps!

We are going to be buried under a pile of snow and freezing rain today
I am not looking forward to driving in it.

I am supposed to go to the gym tonight with Josh, but not sure that I will because the weather will be bad...we shall see though.

The florist cancelled on me last night and wants to meet after the New Year...strange, I thought customers got to meet with vendors on their terms
Obviously, she doesn't know how anal I am about getting this stuff done! Waiting another couple weeks makes me cringe!

My part of the guest list is finalized...just waiting for Josh and his list. (Guys are so bad at doing this kind of stuff..I am nervous that he will give me his list like a month before the wedding

Anyhoo, off to battle the snow...have a good one!

My DH didn't give me his half of the guest list until 2 weeks before invitations were sent out. My half on the other hand was done 4 months prior to his. MEN!

Out of curiosity what colors have you chosen? What flowers? We went with pink, white and yellow. My fave 3 colors. I had daisies, daffodils and tulips. My fave 3 flowers.

Our colours are pale blue and chocolate brown...and calla lilies will be the flowers of choice

The anticipation must be driving you nuts. I couldn't wait. But then the day came and went too fast. But I now have the man of my dreams. The father of my children. Couldn't ask for a better life. Well maybe less manure.

Yeah waiting this long is killing me. We are not living together until we are married...so I really can't wait to have him beside me every night while I sleep.

Lovely color choices Nat. I know it's hard to wait but just imagine that you have something exciting to look forward to. Seeing the arrangement choices and all. Mike was pretty good with his list but we were living together and it was hard for him to get away.

Today I get to sit around and wait for the furniture to be picked up. Don't you love it when they say anywhere between 8am and 3pm. I bet they will be here at 2pm.

It's actually warm here today(10c/50F) and going to be warmer tomorrow but with rain.

Morning All!!!

Snowing again but at least the temperature has risen to a balmy -8 from yesterdays -27..

Nothing much planned for today, the up and down weather has gotten my hands acting up quite badly so I guess today is a take it easy kind of day until they are feeling better.

That's okay though I got all my running around done yesterday and have most of my housework caught up as well. So I guess it's puttering at the computer and watching TV for me.

The kitties are good, sitting in the window watching the snow. I am surprised they aren't sick of it by now.

Everyone have a good day

Well the weather forecast was only partially right from last night.

We have about 5 or so inches of snow but I bet over half of the schools closed in Wisconsin today! I was out snowblowing at 5:45 am so Neil could get to work-I think he could have gotten out with the truck with this though. No work for me though (bummer) as the owner only wanted a very few in as it will be slow.

So Bakker is happy looking at the birds sitting in the shrubs by the windows and Bobs is actually on the bed sleeping-first time since the surgery!!

Neil made a cool dish/platter thing last night and the guy gave him a bunch of partially turned bowls. He said he learned a bit last night from his wood turning lesson-Good!!

Well making a low cal version of General Tso's chicken for dinner tonite. More snowblowing this afternoon too-depending on the wind.

Have a good day!!

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
It's 39F and will probably get up to about 50F today... so they say...

After all my illness issues and three colds, three months mostly out of the loop, I'm finally going back to the Shelter today... It'll feel really good to get back into the volunteering part of my life.

Then I'm dropping the Vehicular Unit (and SUV, so not technically a 'car') off at the dealership (these days, the only ones i trust with anything to do with my SUV anymore), mostly for an oil change, which i could stick around for, but I figured since I'm taking it there, I may as well have them do the mileage inspection for free and check out the wiring. I had a little puff of smoke come out of the steering column several months ago when the left turn signal went all hinky. It's acted up since then, but never got the puff of smoke again... so I didn't bother. But I figure since it's there...

So I'll come home and finally get to making some bunny rabbits... I have my friends large bunnies all cut out, just need to start assembling them. I did get some more fleece to make some to sell, though... so this afternoon I'll work on those...

Oh, man, I need coffee...

Right now it's sunny and warm, but that's supposed to change.

I have to be out of here in about 10 minutes for a trip to Lafayette, LA, and Longview, TX.
