In the US it's Animal Crossing City Folk, and I'M DIEING FOR MINE TO GET HERE ALREADY!!! Maybe they will deliver tomorrow! Then I can play all day Sunday! :-)

I didn't play for very long b-cuz I was ill, so I might have missed that bit

And I'll have to wait until October!

I got the game a couple days ago for the Wii, but I am so busy during the week that I didn't have a chance to play it. I'll hopefully get to start playing it today!

NOOB question alert.

This game sounds like fun. No, I don't have it yet. We just got our Wii this xmas, and I don't know everything about it. I have very little experience with it, or any video game system period.

I've read you talking about friend codes and visiting other peoples towns n' such. Ummm, how is that done? I'm assuming you have to connect to the internet to do things like that? Does it cost to do it?

Do you have wireless internet? You don't have to have it to play the game, it just adds another dimension to the game to go visit other towns.

Yes we do.... have both wireless and ethernet. I've never set anything up on the Wii for it though. Haven't gotten that far with it.

So far my biggest pond smelt (the tourneys fish this time) is 6.9 I think. Hope I win!!

My birthday isnt until July!!!! You know you can speed up time on Animal Crossing Not worth is to me, but you cam.

Oh yeah, and I just got the second story on my house! Yay! Its huge, and I think my neighbors hate it

Ok, mine came yesterday. I hooked it up, and set up my girl, and got it to be able to let me leave. (haven't done that yet) Figured out how to shake my trees and get the bells out of my pocket and got stung by bees (twice). I will read through now how to tell you guys who I am and will send that info. I do have to go do laundry, so I won't be able to be on for very long right now but I will be able to later tonight for sure... So, I'll check back.!

I have the first one on Gamecube and enjoy it (haven't played in a while, but will hook it up soon after reading this thread!). I liked the little island, but thought having to hook the gameboy up to get there was kind of annoying.
The only thing I didn't like about it was that you had to send letters/gifts to the townspeople or they'd get mad and leave

Is the new Wii version pretty much the same?

the wii version is practically a mix between the GC and DS. You have the 'level' things in the game the same as GC, but you dont have the different acres.
