I've never even seen a mole cricket but it sounds like some of the other towns are swarming with them!
I bought my guide at Best Buy. Right now the only bugs you will find are
mole crickets, pill bug, dung beetle, bees, fly, bag worm and ants.

You have all of these in your city right now. Mole crickets are underground. If you walk through your town you will hear a strange humming noise. It's a cricket, take your shovel and start digging all around that area. Once you find him use your net to scoop him up.

Pill bugs can be found by hitting your rocks.
dung beetles can be caught by sneaking up on them as they are rolling snowballs.
flies are caught by leaving a can, boot or wheel out and coming back later to catch the fly buzzing around the item.
bag worms are caught by shaking trees and you will see them hanging right from the tree. Looks like a leaf.
Ants are caught by buying a turnip and letting it rot. Throw it outside
go away for a while come back and you will have ants.

In March we will be able to catch our first butterflies.

Fishing right now is limited. June and July will be the biggest months for catching the most fish. But every month more fish will be added and some will be taken away. I know that bitterlings will not be available in March.

Will you be on tonight?

Even though it was quick, I had fun and I was able to pick up my missing cabana floor from your town!
Ohh and I can't forget your beautiful oranges!

Oh cool - did you get your cabana floor at Nooks? Is that your theme? I can't figure those out yet!

I did get my floor from Nooks in your town. I have the cabana theme on the main floor, Regal on the second floor and Ranch in the basement.

Hi

Im looking for Regal stuff for my house. I have the wall, table, and desk. I just love the look!

Today I chose to have better hours at Nooks. That should have my game!

Kellye my trees are green!
I woke up this morning to hit rocks and noticed right away that my trees had green leaves. Spring is coming!

Meowers, I have some of the regal stuff. I can order them from Nooks and we can try to meet up and exchange items.

I think I've figured out how to get items from your neighbors that you
need for your collection. I've done this 3 times now and it's worked every
time.

My neighbor scoot had the cabana bed. I needed it, so I mailed him a classic bed and he recycled his cabana bed.
I did this with some
of my regal stuff too and it worked each time.

Hey now!!! Who's saying those things about me!? Roald was writing someone here too telling them that I was a night owl! Crazy little gossiping animals!

I know! The mother is complaining to me about it - she needs to be more responsible for her kitten!

Eva - do you have the cabana screen?

Ooh, had fun today! sold some good fossils to Nook at a great price. Got upgraded to Nook N Go...

Nook's special today was a covered wagon, it was hilarious. So...I bought it and put it in my house. I already had a scarecrow from lost & found. Eva came over and brought me a tumbleweed, horse trough, and a cow skull!
I guess it's appropriate that my theme is Western. I just need to find the floor that goes with it. I think I have some fancy rug (how do you take the rug up, btw?)

Kellye? I've got a couch for you. I forget the name now, but it's what you are collecting, I think.

Thanks for the info. I hate buying those guide books since they always seem to cost so much.. But I may give in for this one :p

My play time has been pretty sporadic due to some real life unpleasantness, and when I do get a chance to play it's usually during the day time. I did see a bug fly away from a snowball today, but I didn't catch it. Aside from that all I've seen is the bag worm, but I was wondering what that buzzing noise was. Next time I hear it loudly I'll start digging.

I'll try to get some evening play time in soon and probably pick up that guide book. One of my animal neighbors finally told me about Redd's so I should be getting an invite soon. Can't wait to see what he's got in stock!

Hitting rocks with your shovel will usually produce a centipede or pill bug. I've found that fish get a pretty good price, plus the occasional pearl oyster.

I was on more than usual yesterday cause I came home sick from work. It is just a head cold, so lying on the couch is the same as lying in bed IMO, LOL. Oh, and I got some really really good prices for fossils I dug up that I had already donated. I made probably 15000 bells yesterday just from catching fish and digging up fossils.
