And the beautifully decorated Christmas tree fell over...

And I don't think either kitty had anything to do with it. :/

At least no PRECIOUS ornaments were broken in the fall, and only one wasn't fixable. We now have an eyehook in the wall behind the tree, with nylon string wrapped around the tree. *crosses fingers* Let's hope it'll stay upright through Christmas.

Around here, forget it. No Christmas trees allowed by orders of Sir Persi.

They're really good about the real tree, but forget my mom's artificial one..they're always trying to climb in it! We typically get Scotch Pines, which are really prickly, so they don't care for it.

We decided no tree this year...Just a small metal one from Target that sits on our stereo speaker. I don't trust Lola....Kittens + Christmas trees don't mix.

We put bells around the bottom of the tree in case a certain fuzzy feline gets the urge to climb we hear her befor she creates too much damage.

Sibohan likes to chew on the ends of the fake tree branches... I think she's lacking somthing in her diet.

No pictures?!?!? Glad to hear that there was minor damage.

My cats are not allowed in this room unless I hold them or I would have a mess. Mine is a fiber optic tree about 6 feet tall..
its the first time with this tree since we now have a house.
Last year we had the table top and coco chewed it so we had to hide it when we were not home.

Christmas trees and cats don't mix unless you cat proof the tree and even then don't care about the tree or its contents

But you see, the cats didn't even do anything to it.

This is our third year with a real tree, and the boys avoid it because the needles aren't soft; they're prickly.

We are putting our tree up this evening, and I'm glad the kitties don't really take much notice of it. It's my baby niece and the dog we have to be wary of

This year is Nero's first Christmas. I can only imagine.

Katina just likes to sleep under the tree. She had her climb-fest last year with Monte. Doesn't seem too into climbing it anymore.
