At five weeks along, is it possible to NOT feel a pregnancy?

I've had my foster kitty, Lucinda, for four weeks tomorrow and I'm bringing her to the shelter next Saturday for her adoption preparation which, of course, includes a spay. Is there any possibility at all that at 35 days I WON'T be able to feel if she's pregnant? I don't want them to do a spay/abort!

Thanks!

Yeah, I was gonna say that the first visual sign is the nipples. They tend to turn a hot pink around 3 weeks into pregnancy.

Thanks for the responses, y'all!

I apologize for not making my question clearer.... I've read all about the feline gestation and the pinking nipples and such.... I just wanted reassurance that at a full five weeks, if I couldn't feel any babies, then for sure there weren't any.

As for Lucinda's nipples 1) She was nursing when I trapped her, so I wouldn't be able to tell if there has been any change that might be due to a pregnancy and 2) If I thought for two seconds she'd allow me to retain my skin after examining her in such a familiar way, I might take a look anyway, but as it is, I think I'll take a pass.
