Torbie or Tortie?

I've been reading the "Colour" threads and it got me to wondering what Lucy might be classified as. She's got the tabby facial markings and striped legs, but she's "Tortie" everywhere else. Her tail is black and gray. Thanks!!

Very similar. Is Meeko shorthaired? Lucy's got medium hair.

good site for coat patterns/colors: striped, spotted & ticked cats
tortoiseshell & tricolor cats
Firefox has very similar coloration, too:

she's a DSH.
here in the U.S., it's often referred to as torbie, but also as patched tabby.

Wow all three of them look alot alike.
Meeko has short fur.
Her mom is a Russian Blue and her dad was a red tabbey.
My brother still has her mom.

You would almost guess they were out of the same litter! All of them are very pretty Brown Patched Tabby girls. The one has more red then the others.

Oh my!!I am so blessed that my husband totally understands and backs me up ( he knows how much I love cats) so he has no problem with me fostering and right now we are in the process of applying for nonprofit status and found a building to rent so we can rescue more cats I live in a area that has nothing as far as shelters and rescues!!
