Okay...after reading this thread I am just almost in tears....how dare someone come to this site and steal photos of the cats posted here?????????? I know they can, but it is just WRONG!!!!!!

Seeing Nakita pics here has been one of the bright spots in my day...seriously. I am very mad that someone has taken that away from me. She is so beautiful and my "dream" cat. (the cat I would pick to own if I could pick any cat in the world...other than Merlin that is)

Thanks whoever you are for taking that away from me.

Kass...please e-mail pics of Nakita to me whenever you have new ones....I think you have my e-mail, if not, let me know.

And could someone tell me...what does "watermarking" mean? I have no clue.

Debby, watermarking is putting your name or website somewhere on or across the picture. If you look at Princess Purr's pictures, they all have her name across them very lightly so if anyone tries to take them she would be able to see it right away.

Thank you Heidi for explaining that to me. It is so very sad that people have to do that to keep the buttholes in this world from stealing them.

Did the person who did this get punished somehow?

Kass, I am very sorry someone is stealing your pictures of Nakita. There are truly some HORRIBLE people in this world!! I'm glad that the picture was taken down, and it stinks that you have to go back and take down pictures of Nakita. Everytime I came here I'd go back in the posts and find pictures of Nakita and let out an envious sigh, but as much as I envy you for having such a BEAUTIFUL cat, I would never ever do such a thing.

I do hope you will be able to do as Val does and copywrite your pictures with watermarks and post some more, because I will be truly sad if you stop posting pictures of such a breathtaking cat.

Won't you watermark her photos then we can see them, right?

I use paint shop pro. I make the text, then I merge visable layers, then i use the cut out option, and then I use the drop shadow option. If you want me to water mark it for you just pm me with what you want one it. It only takes about 3 minutes or so.

Does anybody know if it's okay to watermark pics before we submit them to Caption This?
I'm just wondering.
