I rather have her come here safe then take a chance when its that cold.

What airline is Ed using? Continental doesn't have temp restrictions, because the handle the animal loading differently.

hmmm, maybe I am mistaken about their temp restrictions. Maybe if it's freezing or below they won't handle the animals.

Fingers crossed that the weather is warm enough, it must be torture waiting! Her safety is the main thing of course, so hoping for you that the weather brightens up a bit.
