i think it depends on the cat. Moe and Neo HATE to travel, but one of my inlaws cats liked it.

I would have to agree. It would depend on the cat's personality (or is that PURRsonality!)
and how well they traveled.

We take Tiger and Jorin with us occasionally to my mothers, but they don't care for the dogs. We also took Boo with us last time, she enjoyed playing with Myste (my golden retriever who lives with my parents, she was named after my screen name, the breeders also ran an ISP I worked for) but got upset at having Tiger and Jorin in HER territory. She HATED the car ride though, both there and back. Next time we'll just bring her, and put her in a carrier to & from. Tiger & Jorin are going fishing with us tomorrow, they're harness trained and love being outdoors

Yeah it would definetly depend on the cat, I have taken all 3 of mine either for short visits or over night stays at new places, and they have actually done pretty well. But I only bring them to low key house holds. Either places with other nice cats, or no animals at all. I used to have to bring Asim with me everywhere, if I was gone over night or more then 24 hours, he has anxiety and depression issues, so it was just a thing, if you wanted me to come over, my cat is coming too, lol.

Hi Laura!

i take my furbabies, Daisy and Venus almost anywhere and everywhere. i carry them in a soft cat carrier.

Personally, i think it is really important to microchip all kitties, you never know?

Also, if you taking your kitty out, i think it is a good idea to let your kitty wear a collar with a tag, with your contact no. and address on it. You can get these tags from Petco or Petsmart and most pet stores.

i think my kitties really enjoy going out. i leave their carriers near the entrance. Many times, before i step out, i see them jumping IN the carriers whenever they sensed that i was stepping out...
!!

Take care and cheers!
