The other night I came home from work(at about 1 AM) and Tom came out of the bedroom with a shoe lase in his mouth, walked over and dropped it on my foot. He then sat there looking up at me and purring. I'm not sure but I think he was trying to tell me something. We played for about half an hour and then went to bed. The next night I was watching TV and had made my self a big bowl of rice. I had taken a break from eating and was laying down on the couch when he jumped up on me and curled up on my knee(my leg was bet at a 90 degree angle on the couch). He started to purr loudly and it was cute for the first 10 minutes but then I wanted more food...but he wouldn't budge. He looked just so cute that I didn't have the heart to move him but I was really hungry by the time he moved(about 30 minutes later) that and my leg was asleep. I think he's trying to tell me that he misses me now that I am working almost 40 hours a week on top of still going to school full time. Its getting impossible to get any work done at the apartment with Tom the incredible paper weight around.
The second I come home, he's stuck to me like glue. He doesn't even meow like he used to, he just lays on me and purr's like crazy. I'm surprised he hasn't taken to hiding my keys yet so I can't leave.
