There is a web site that sends out regular cat newsletters. One of the most recent ones has a recipe for "turkey treats."

Cat Turkey Treats

The thing that jumped out at me was the teaspoon full of garlic powder. What do you think?

Well that could be a dangerous recipe. The first one is for dogs only, but they don't make that very clear. They need to put a NOT FOR CATS on it.
Still I don't think I would feed that to my dog either, canned no fat gravy? what is in that?

The second recipe is for cats. No garlic but is says to use no salt chicken broth. No mention to make sure there is no onion in it. It is really hard to find chicken broth without onion.

I think the cat recipe is fine for a treat now and then, but too much carbs for me personally. I know my grain free kitties would get very bad gas from those treats
