I'm a dog lover. I've been training and competing with my dogs from the very young age of 8 years old. In my late teen years I became active in animal rescue. As an adult, I've become less active in competing with my dogs, and animal rescue has completely taken over my life. I cannot foster dogs right now, so instead I take on sick kittens. I'm knowledgable about dogs, but kittens/cats are all new to me. So I turned to cat forums to find some answers.
I've taught some of my own dog training classes in the past; I work in a veterinary clinic as a receptionist, kennel hand, and clean the entire clinic on the weekends; and I'm going to school to become a veterinary technician.
I've fostered over 30 kittens in the past 6 months. I do not foster with any organization as of right now. I used to be part of the local humane society, but due to corruptness, I'm not longer involved there. I've taken on helping people with kittens. I often offer to take the kittens, raise them, give some medical treatment, and rehome them. I put all rehoming fees directly back into spaying the mother cat then.
So, that's just a bit about me.
