They are growing by leaps and bounds! What are you feeding them?

Nial just wondering at what age your Bengals start to want to eat solid foods. Found out that a lot of Oci's are interested in eating by 4 weeks old! My rexes never wanted to eat solids till closer to 6 weeks old.

They usually start checking out what momma is eating by 4 weeks. Just being nosey at that point, but most are on solids by 5 weeks or so.

Yep, he's still the top notch one, but we have decided on a keeper girl from the litter, Bebe. She's on my website, but I'll post a pic of her here soon as well. Will have to come up with a better name for her.

Ummmm, Buck?

Do you want a metallic or city theme name?

I'm happy to report that all is going well with the litter and they are growing by leaps and bounds. Platinum is doing a super job of keeping these babies fat and happy and she looks to be holding up nicely so far. She's certainly not the prettiest queen we have, but she makes some awesome kittens.
She's still got a nice belly on her, so I know she is pounding that food down.

Here's a new pic of the litter. Platinum always manages to squint for the flash.

At the kitty's beck and call
Awwww such gorgeous gorgeous babies
Platinum is such a good Mummy.

Your little Bebe is so beautiful - what a lovely rich colour she has (not that I know what makes a good show cat/breeding Queen), she just looks beautiful to me

Nial, those kittens are just gorgeous!
I can't wait to have my own! She is doing a super job at taking care of them! I still am trying to determine what a good marble pattern looks like early.

I just found this thread and I can't wait for them to grow up even more. WOW, they are so cute. Some of those patterns are already starting to look really awesome. What adorable babies!

Thanks for all the nice comments from everyone.
I certainly appreciate it.

This Loki X Platinum pairing was a genetic jackpot from what I can tell so far. The kittens are turning out extremely nice. I will update photos this week.

We have decided to keep 3 of the litter of seven, maybe even 1 more. All show prospects.

I looked them over really well this afternoon and Bogey, BeBe, Bayli are all exceptional. Beans may stay as well or be sold to another breeding program.
So 2 browns, 2 silvers as likely show candidates.

These are the types of litters we do all the hard work for!

Now I have to think of at least 3 cool names.
