I have to take him in to the vet on Friday. He's been sneezing for a couple of days, and now his right eye is watering. Poor guy. I think he's got a cold. He's breathing fine, and he's eating as usual (like a horse), but I don't want to fool around.

I feel so bad for him, because he keeps looking at me with this watery eye, and I'll wipe it and he'll start purring. He's such a good boy. And when he sneezes, he just sort of looks around like, "Oh, boy....here comes another one." But he's sleeping and doing everything else....peeing, pooping.....but, as I said, I don't want to fool around.

Awww....that's so sweet of you to ask!

He's so much better I didn't take him in today. He's basically stopped sneezing, and his eye isn't watering anymore....still eating like a horse, and is very frisky. Pretty sure it was a cold and he seems to be sleeping it off. Every morning he's better.

It could also be allergies?

Allergies occurred to me. Especially when I realized he seemed to stop sneezing after I went on a cleaning spree.....which I hadn't done for awhile. Not that I don't clean, but this was a major cleaning spree. He seemed to stop sneezing after that.

But, he lived on the streets of Brooklyn for the first 8 months of his life....I would have thought that he would have had a tougher system than that.

But allergies would make more sense, I guess, since it didn't seem to affect his eating or playing around. It was just the sneezing and the watery eye.

But he's back to normal now.

Perhaps I should dust more often.
