RIP Henry

Henry (17 or 18 years old) was the "mascot" and greeter at Cat Guardians, a no kill shelter in Lombard, IL. Henry was an orange tabby with black whiskers. Many people adopted Henry over the years, but he always ended up at the shelter again, perhaps that's where he was really the happiest. He lost his battle with cancer and will be sorely missed by everyone that visited and volunteered to care for the cats. Henry would make sure he got a pat on the head from everyone!

I'm so sorry about Henry. He sounds like a sweet boy. I think you're right - maybe he really did love his job as official greeter and that's why he kept coming back...

He sounds like a real Sweetheart! Rest in Peace Henry.

What a beautiful sentiment Henry will be just the cat to show those little people angels who are also crossing over, where their new fur-friends can be found,too
