I dont know how many of you remember but I joined TCS last December right after getting my Chestnut because he had a seziure, well it happened again today.
Last year the day I picked him up he got his distemper booster. After the seziure when they did blood work it showedthat he was anemic (non-regnerative). We then found out that he had a HORRIBLE case of roundworm when he threw one up in the vets office. He hasn't had another episode since then, and his blood work came back clean (aka no more anemia)
Well today I brought Chestnut and Gizmo in for their annual shots. We are trying to get the two of them on the same schedule since they were a month apart, the vet suggested now would be good to bring them both in. They both got the 3-year rabies and the annual distemper. Well a few hours after we got home Chestnut begain cunvusling again. I made sure to watch the clock this time it started at 5:58, he stopped convulsing at 6:01 (right as the clock changed) and started walking around at 6:05 (I was already on the phone with the e-vet)
Could this be a reaction to the distemper? I'm so worried about my baby! He seems fine now, maybe a little tired, but not really much more than usual... vibes would be appreciated. I have a call into my vet, I'm waiting to hear from him.
