Morning cat peeps

Another cold one today exept no snow expected thankfully.

I am heading to moms today for some homemade chicken soup...I didn't make it yesterday. I am so excited!

Not much other than that goin on..I think Josh is coming with me tonight though...I can't wait!

Good morning

Yet another day at work ... feeling MISERABLE. I got sick on Saturday afternoon, and am still feeling horrible. Ughhh.

I'm going to try some Benadryl when I get off work - been taking DayQuil and NyQuil the last 4-5 days and not feeling much better with it.

I like the sound of chicken soup ... I might have to make me some! It'll be nice, especially with this 30* weather we're having, with a high of 61* projected for the day. Which would be fine, if it werent for all the wind!

Morning All!!!

Pretty Frosty here as well about -13C but at least the sun is shining.

Nothing special planned for today, just finishing up some housework and maybe a couple of loads of laundry.

Also want to defrost my fridge but not sure whether I will get around to that today or not.

The kitties are good, Pixie and Linus are chasing each other around the house and Sassy is sitting up on the fridge clearly annoyed with both of them for being silly.

Good Morning.

Looks like winter is well and truly here. I had 8" of snow to brush off the car and clear from the walk this morning before work. It's a typical work day - everyone's staggering in slowly because of the snow, though, so it's pretty quiet right now.

The cats were sleeping in front of the furnace grate when I left them, so I ssupect they're having a nice warm, relaxing day.

I think I've almost shaken this cold, so if I'm up to it tonight, maybe I'll get around to some laundry.

I just finished making a quadruple batch of chocolate chip cookies. I will never do that again.

I am covered in cookie dough.

I also ate too much of the dough.

That was lunch.

I want to go for a walk now to walk off a few of the calories, but it would probably only be enough for one bite.

It's a real biting cold out there today, so looks like I won't be doing that.

Hey it's nice to know I am not the only one who went on a cookie dough binge this week...Mine was chocolate wafer cookie dough and it was delicious.

Posting late again as I went up to the farm this morning to cut christmas green for me and my clients. 4.5 hours worth of cutting. Got some birch (on the ground), red twig dogwood, 2-3 types of pine, spruce, balsam,tamarack and cedar. Did some four wheeling with the truck too. Through the alfalfa field, corn field, the woods, the cedar swamp and the meadow!!
It was about 27F(-2C?) but really windy so wind chill was 10F (-12C) though.

Then stopped at grocery store on the way home to pick up the 2008 Beaujolais Nouveau
and relaxing the rest of the night. I can unload the back of the truck tomorrow.
