That sounds like our fridge
which we did have out not that long ago. And since it's longer since the stove has been out, I'm guessing it's pretty gross, too.

A tiny little space between my master bathroom sink and tub. It's too small for me to get my hand in there so I haven't figured out a way to thoroughly clean it out yet. (only been in the house about a month).

Behind/under the refrigerator is fine. DH had to move it again last night to get some furniture passed, so I cleaned again. I don't have a stove to clean under and everything else in the house has been scrubbed.

In the house I live in now, theres a bunch of dirty places. Probably my BIL's bathroom is the worst

My microwave is a built-in, high above my oven.
I need a step stool to see inside clearly, so I don't.

You just had to bring this up didn't you.

Is this the misery love company thing Karen?

Your kidding, right? I gave up cleaning after DH because he is such a slob. I would have to say his office. It is tiny and it is overflowing into the family. He doesn't even throw out opened envelopes!

BTW, I am not allowed to clean his office and neither is the woman who cleans our house much to her relief.

I would have to say Garage I guess? It is where dirty things are like weed eaters, the mower, shovels, and tools, but it isn't that dirty. Husband and I both
to clean!

Time to air your dirty secrets.

Same here, which is why mine was so bad. I remember there being a thread about microwave cleaning tips and found it. I tried microwaving a bowl of water for 8 minutes and was able to just wipe everything off.

Now that the microwave is clean, I'll go with behind the refrigerator as being the worst.

At the moment I'd have to say the floor in the corner of the dining room under my plant stand. That's where all the dirt went when the kitties knocked over my Christmas cactus. Every time I think I've gotten it all swept up, I find myself crunching across the floor again.

Probably the oven because we had a guy in to fix it and he told us that if we use the 'self-cleaning' feature the oven will break down faster.

Dirtiest place: under the stove, washer, and dryer! Yikes! (Under the refrigerator isn't as yucky.)

The messiest place, would be our bookshelves. Stuff gets up piled/crammed onto a shelf! (By me!

I wish I could be like you! I dust and the next day it's all back, I clean windows and they look smeared, it's my lifes story. Thank god my husband understands and cleans and cooks too!!

To be honest, my first thought was the litter box. I scoop every day but am embarrassed to say how long it goes between complete changes.

But now that you bring it up. I don't even want to think about what might be under or behind my refrigerator!

I've been here over three years and have no idea how to remove the grate at the bottom or what is under there that might need cleaning.

But a couple of weeks ago I did clean out the lint filter that is underneath my dryer. The instructions say it should be cleaned out every three months to avoid a build up. I do the easy on on the door after every load. But the this one is a pain to do.

The first time was a shock. I had no idea one cat could generate so much fur!

There's no place like home
My husband vacuumed last night and claimed he found a large dog's worth of hair under our entrance hall table.

You mean you're supposed to clean out under your stove and fridge?

Seriously, we have an attached garage that is so cluttered that I haven't been able to park a car in it for about a year now. I get it half cleaned out and DH loads it up with a bunch of stuff. He's got a car parked in there that hasn't been driven in 2 years. I keep threatening him that I'm going to have it towed to a junk yard one of these days.

The other dirty areas in the house are the rooms that I've given to DH. He's a pack rat and I refuse to spend 4 hours moving things around to clean under them. So I just let it be. Our shared walk in closet is getting pretty bad. I removed about a dozen of his shirts and a dozen pair of his jeans a month ago and he hasn't noticed they are gone.
