Back in April (I think) I posted "Introducing Calvin". Then my husband had foot surgery and had some complications and my time was very limited. But he's well now and here I am.
Calvin was feral. I spotted him as a very young kitten and was struck by how much he resembled one of my cats. He ( Bluecat ) took up at our house 12 years ago ( the same neighborhood) so I thought Calvin could be a descendent. He was very scrawny so I started feeding him. It began in the woods and slowly worked closer to my house. My yard is fenced in and one day he came over the fence and took up with my little dog.
We had a pet door so that my dog could go out and one day Calvin followed Shorty in.
It took me 4 months to get to the point for him to let me pet him. I worked with him enough to get him in the house to eat and I would shut the pet door and make him stay in at night. I can't tell you how many nights he kept me up howling! But I started locking Shorty in with him and he liked that.
I kept him in longer each day and now he is an indoor kitty and loveable as can be. My other cats DO NOT like him and I am hoping as time goes on that they will at least tolerate him. I can't give him up because my husband and I are the only humans that have had any contact with him. And I know this sounds crazy, but he seems to appreciate the loving he gets, more than the other kitties.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to how to make them accept him? They mostly ignore him but at least once a day they will jump him and I'm afraid someone will get hurt. And BTW he has been neutered. That is on of the first things I did for him, lol

That is so great you took him in!just be patient and get used to the idea the cats may never actually like eachother but they will learn to coexist!Good luck!
