Did you ever have one of those conversations with your cat that you get that "What are you exactly getting at." stare.

I was having quite and interesting conversation with Linus in the bathroom tonight. After dinner my routine is as follows, tidy the kitchen, clean the litter boxes, take out the garbage.
So during litter box cleaning this evening Linus was in his usual position perched on the side of the bathtub waiting for me to be finished so he could do his thing.
I looked over at him and said, "Why don't you clean my bathroom for a change".

The look I got clearly said " Oh please that's what we keep you for, now get scooping"

Good thing I love the little critter......

Though Scamper always seems to know when I need her company... if I'm really sad or crying, she'll find me out of the blue and curl up while I talk to her. She just sits there and listens, like my own little therapist... I love my little girl!!!!!

Lauren I'll ask her "Are you my old girl" (she's my oldest and is 9) and I get the dirtiest looks
I swear she know what I'm implying

This makes me think of a conversation I often have with Sassy. Sassy is my oldest as well he's 16.
I will often say to him if I not sure were Pixie or Linus are or what they are up too " Go find the kids" and that's what he does.
He will wonder around the house until he tracks them down.
It's all very cute.

My cats will sometimes look at me and jump down off their perch or walk out of the roomas if to say "I don't have time for this nonsense!" "No time to talk to you today crazy lady! off to do IMPORTANT kitty things!"

it cracks me up.

this thread is too cute!

When Trout wants to play fetch...her favorite times are in the morning when I am in bed just waking up..and when I am indisposed on the toilet

If its the toilet situation, I have little room to move around and reach for the ball... so when its too far away for me to pickup...I say to her "I can't reach it" while reaching over showing her how I can't reach...she will then bat it over to me

Too cute!

I get that all the time from my eldest Kuce (She's 15) and RB Sphinx and sometimes even Luvbug and Lil' Jag. It seems the older they get, the more they understand. It's as if she can plainly understand what people are saying. She even seems to understand the words 'bath', 'nail trim' and 'medicine'. She even comes (when she wants too) when we ask her to.

I love her anyway.
