I had to take my car into the dealer for a couple of things that were wrong. I need a new part (under warranty, thank goodness) and the car will not be ready until Mon.

Now, we do have 3 cars. The one our daughter drives which will be hers when she graduates this May, is here because she is in school across the country. But it has been sitting in our driveway (we have a two-car garage) since she left in Aug. I kept bugging DH to put a car cover on it. We even have one. Did he? No.

Now, I need to drive that car until I get mine back. I told DH that I would not drive it that dirty. I wash clothes and dishes, not cars. I told him that he would be driving me around all weekend (he does need his car to do things) or he takes it to the car wash.

Just looked at the window because I heard a noise. DH is washing that car. I am so happy.

Of course, I did make a better argument than that which can be written here, not just the driving thing.

Men!!
Neil's brother called him yesterday afternoon saying they were stopping over last night to view the progress on the ceiling. My SIL called me to let me know this not Neil.
As I was going full tilt painting and it was raining I called Neil to make sure he stopped at store after the gym to get some snacks as such. He didn't want to do so!!
Why would I make the extra trip when he would be really close by.

I won of course!!

I love a clean car, inside and out, but Jim thinks someone at the carwash place is responsible for cleaning it and not him. That goes for anything car related, including changing a tire.

Sometimes I think he married the car.
Jacky, he married you for you and you will always have clean cars! When Steve gets all your cars clean, send him up my way.
