On the west side of... of... somewhere.
Well, as I was getting distracted by a couple of household cats vying for my attention while i was writing earlier this morning, I yanked my Da Bird down from it's hiding place and caught the attention of Jack, but only after JoJo thought it was something to watch (they don't give the big show like some cats here). So, Jack was on the floor next to my chair, his back to me, Da Bird being whipped back and forth over his head. It's not hitting anything, even his head to get his attention. He'd been jumping up after it (but back feet staying on the floor) but something caught his attention on the floor... and he promptly jumped back about a foot, knocking into the container of food next to my chair. He freaked, of course. Now, he sniffs around looking for some invisible monsters... just in that area... I have no clue what he freaked out about, but it made me laugh... I had a good long belly laugh because of his behavior.

I have strange kitties, to be sure...

Anyone else have something odd happen while playing with toys like Da Bird?

Well, Da Bird does bring out the wild side in my cats! I think I posted a video in Fur Pics some time ago of my kitties playing with it. Griffin, who is the quietest, most laid back cat of my bunch (maybe even on Earth) goes nuts for it! Every time he manages to get it in his mouth he holds on to it and growls continually.
Da Bird is a great toy.

Zane will crawl under my desk and hole up as I dangle the bird back and forth in front of the opening, and then WHAM! out he comes.
