Its Remembrance Day here in Canada

Its going to be a cold one today, and will continue to get cold. Yesterday it was 5 degrees and I thought I was going to die from the cold

I am not going to do well in the Ottawa winter.

Nothing much going on today, heading to work, and then the gym and for a run with Josh.

We went to see the movie Role Models last night and it was hilarious

It's Remembrance Day here in the UK also, I done my two minute silence whilst standing in the pharmacy this morning

Apart from that, today is being spent either Christmas shopping or resting at home.

Morning All!!

Yes here in Canada most everyone has a poppy on there jackets for Rememberance. We haven't had a our 2 minutes of silence yet we are still a couple of hours away from 11 A.M.

Very chilly here this morning -5. I have an appointment a little after 10 so I guess I better dig out my woolies.

Now a whole lot planned for today, maybe lunch out then back home to finish up some housework...It's a hard life

The kitties are nuts this morning tearing around the house like little banshee's.

My plan was to go to the Post Office and mail a few wreaths until my mother reminded me that they are closed due to Veteran's Day. Good thing I found out before I went.

My mother's cat is sick again and we are off to the vet this afternoon. This time we are going to my vet as I want to get a second opinion on her.

It looks like it will be a sunny day, but cold. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet.

I spent most of the day at work designing. I made 52 reindeer

(had to decorate these gorgeous gold paper mache' ones...they wound up soo cute!) We pretty much were scrabling all day to try and get everything ready for Christmas. I wound up having to make a ton of wreaths and swags too....It was fun, but I was totally exhausted by the time I left work.

After work I had to stop by Petsmart to pick up some stuff for Isabella and Kojak for tomorrow. When I got done at the pet store I went to my sister's house to pick up the crate I had loaned her and we hung out for about an hour.

After I left my sister's house I came home and cleaned up the house a little bit. Colin's new motorcycle arrived today so he spent a good while showing it to me (it's pretty!). After my brother-in-law got off work (he works for a Harley dealership) him and my sister came over to see the new bike and hang out(bringing gifts of Starbucks

). After they left DH and I watched Family Guy for a little while.

At the moment I'm doing a few more things for the night then planning to head to bed so I can get up early in the morning!
