What's the name of that movie?

It's a war movie, and part of the promos that were being shown when it was released in the theaters showed 2 opposing armies in the front line in battle, making a truce with one another for Christmas.

Was it set in WWI or WWII?

I just remember seeing commercials advertising the movie. One of the more frequently aired ones showed 2 enemy armies at the front line declaring a truce with one another for Christmas. I think they celebrated it together.

It was only in the theaters within the last year or maybe 2 years.

Sounds like WWI. There was a movie made a few years ago called "The Christmas Truce".

I found it in google by searching "movie+war+christmas" and found a trailer. Apparently it's called "Merry Christmas". Kind of a dumb name for a movie about a war.

There was a Paul McCartney video like that, too, many years ago... I don't remember what the song was, though.
