She was my first femal cat and was one of the first 4 cats I had as a kid.
She was black and white and was about 1.5 when I lost her 29 years ago today.
I still feel sad even though its been that long.

Oh, so sad, she was very young.

It doesn't seem to matter how long it's been since our babies haved passed - we never stop missing them.

They take a little piece of our heart with them.

Thanks,
Maybe that is why I love black and white cats so much.
I was 12 when we lost her.
She was my cat though.
I wish i had pics of her but I never got any.

My first cat was a black and white too and he died at one year old when I was a teenager. I remember being in so much anguish over losing him.

Before him, I was just a dog person so he gets the credit for turning me into a cat-and-dog lover. He was a sweetheart. Maybe because he was raised with dogs, he had a little dog behavior in him; he used to follow me to friends' houses and wait outside for me.

Like you, I think that's why I have a special fondness for B&Ws. My cat who died last year was a B&W.

Thanks,
We had only dogs until 1978 and I was scared to pick our first kitten up.
I have 2 black and white cats and another black and white coming next month.
I know how you felt when you lost your cat.
Now I even feel worse.
My sister just told me my brothers get is going to die today.
He is real bad.

One of the first cats I ever considered to be "mine" was also a black and white little girl aptly named Domino. It is my heartfelt hope that she is running and playing happily at the Bridge as I lost her many years ago and never did find out what happened to her. Our hearts may heal with time, but they never, ever forget.
