I bought a digiorno garlic bread pepperoni pizza. Let it thaw and added olives and fresh Parmesan cheese and baked that.

I have decided to make a batch of vegetarian lasagna for the freezer and for dinner this evening.

In fact I should really get away from the computer so I can go shopping for the ingredients.

I will most likely have salad and garlic bread as well.

Oh I'm jealous!!! My friend moved from Poland in 1999 and her mom used to make us pierogies. Cant beat the homemade ones!!

I had homemade calzones last night (Parmesan, ricotta, mozzarella cheese, genoa salami, pepperoni, and fresh garlic). Mmmm makes me miss living at home SO much

Tonight we are having subs at the house. My mom buys some wonderful bread, gets all the sub ingredients, and sets up a sub buffet on the counter

I had cucumbers with ranch dressing and club crackers with crunchy peanut butter. I am stuffed.

There's a clam chowder in our near future, too, but not tonight. Pretty basic tonight, just sliced ham, panfried spuds and a veg of some kind -- maybe corn.

My younger cousin is staying over tonight and my BF asked me if I remembered he eats a lot...oops, no. So I'm making something we always have a lot of, tagliatelle with zucchini, crayfish, ricotta and pesto.

I also have to start making the cake for my boyfriends birthday tomorrow, you have to leave it overnight before you can bake it. It is plum cake form the Antilles, I got the recipe from his mom, what irks me is that I think I make it the same way every time but it does not always turn out the way hers does, and I want to know why.

Sounds lovely to me! I love turnip and cabbage and any type of leafy green veggie like spinach and kale. My favourite of all is turnip greens - mmmmmmm. (I guess I should have said 2 favourites since I also love beet greens.)

I made a pot roast yesterday and some spaghetti meat sauce. I didn't finish the pot roast, i.e., didn't make the gravy so that's probably what we will have tonight if hubby has time to eat. He has band practice plus he has to replace the solenoid on my car. The solenoid will take him 1/2 hour at least, so we shall see.

Italian sausages are on sale, so I am either making a sausage and pepper stew or in a skillet. We'll have some Italian bread with it.

I have been so great about not eating fast food lately but tonight I was starving so I had a 10 piece chicken nugget meal from Mcdonalds. It was good but my hound stole most of my fries.

Not sure what caused me to realize that it's fall and we hadn't yet had a feed of roasted root veg, but that got fixed tonight. Pork burgers to go with the veg. Soul food.
