As Christmas draws near, I was wondering if you wrap gifts for your pets and put them under the Christmas tree?

I actually do this
for our cats and dogs. The cats receive catnip filled toys so they are encouraged to open them at anytime and the dogs receive toys with squeakers to entice them to rip right into their gifts.

I generally do wrap up a couple, but it seems the same for the cats as it is for little kids they are more interested in the wrapping paper then the toy.

I have. We will usually have a stocking for them though.

I will wrap something for my macaw in plain paper though. He likes to shred te paper as much as getting the toy I think lol.

I do wrap the gifts for them if they are large enough
Then I open it "with" them. Half the time they want the wrapping paper instead

One year, most of the presents under the tree had little cat teeth marks in them

I wrap up their Christmas presents and put them in their stockings
I even put name tags on them
I've got one stocking for the cats and one for the dogs, and I label everything so I know who's is who's. If it's a big gift though (like the 3' bone DH got Fosters a year or so ago, then that goes under the tree)

I wrap their presents and put the little ones in their stockings, the big ones under the tree.

Our families animals also exchange gifts between each other, so I wrap up my cats' gifts to the other family pets and they go with me to my parents' house. But we're kinda weird that way.

This reminds me, though...I have to make a new stocking this year for Speedbump the parakeet!

Oh, yeah, I wrap presents for them every year, and every year they ignore them, make themselves scarce when the presents are distributed, and give me the "why do I care, Mum?" attitude when I give them a prezzie with an end started to entice them, etc, etc. I have pics of Fawn opening prezzies their first Christmas, but since then, they are total party poopers. But I persist.

Our kits get a stocking with treats in, and Jasper (our Labrador) gets a stocking with treats in and a squeaky toy to entice him to open it himself
