Have you visited our "Crossing the Bridge" section? Also, let me recommend petloss.com.

So sorry for your loss. It is such a difficult decision to make, you don't want your beloved pet in pain or suffering and you don't want them to leave you either. As much as it hurts you did the best thing for her. And you have memories of wonderful years with her.

I am so sorry for your loss. You made such a hard decision but it was one made out of love for your precious baby. She is now in kitty heaven; running and playing and catching butterflies and having lots of fun. I wish you peace and strength to get through this. She will always be in your heart.

Most of us have had to make the decision you made today. It is never easy and the tears flow, but know in your heart that you have released her from her pain and suffering. She will be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge.

I just read your story this morning, and I am bawling as I sit here at the computer. I had to make that decision last year for my 19-year-old female cat, and it was so extremely hard. I had had her longer than my husband and kids - we'd been together a long time. When I saw pictures of Snowball, his fur reminded me of how Annie's had gotten when she got older. My heart goes out to you.

What a difficult decision you had to make. Let your memories of your precious kitty comfort you during this difficult time, and may Snowball rest in peace.

I'm so sorry about your kitty. RIP Snowball.
Snowball was gorgeous, a lovely white kitty with bi-color eyes and it looks like Snowball loved you very much. You made a very, very difficult decision, but in the end it was probably the best one for poor Snowball.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. You had a lovely kitty and 16 wonderful years together.
