So my boyfriend bought himself a new toy. Its definitely a fun ride! Although I think he is the only person to ever buy a convertible at the end of October... oh well we will just have to bundle more!
It is a '79 MG B. And yes it is lime green... and he has decided he likes the lime green. Well at least it will stand out right? We also got a kick out of the fact that the manual has a glossary of proper english terms. Oh and it also has 3 windshield wipers... I find that odd.

that pic is my fave. I love the trees in the back ground!
Now we need a name for it! LOL!

What a cool toy! I have always loved MGB's, yet I would have to say that was not one of the original colors......Definitely can't be missed!

I have one from about 1972. I say "about," because I took it for paying off a bad debt and I've never driven it. It didn't run when I got it, and it's slowly returning to the earth whence it came.

However, my Irish friend described the "rubber bumper" MGB's as "requiring a day's reservation in advance if you decide you're going to change lanes." They raised the car on its suspension to meet the 1974-75 bumper height rules, and it didn't improve the handling at all.

Oh, and October/November is a great time to buy a convertible, motorcycle, or boat.
