i guess, its time to finally get around to doing the carpal tunnel thing.

last week or so beyond the normal stuff, i have been getting really sharp stabing pain right at the wrist area.

by the way, i hate people with sharp things near me

Have you tried the braces you can pick up at the drug store at all?? I know its a pain to try to wear them at work esp if you are on the computer all the time but wear them at home as much as possible. Being consistent in wearing them is the key.

I adjusted alot of my keyboard techniques after I was diagnosed like moving my hands around more instead of stretching the thumb and pinky fingers and dropping the keyboard flat on the desk.

Its funny that I read this as my left hand is(the ring finger) is tingly this morning. But thats from gardening and spackling in the family room.

I had awful pain and numbness in both my hands from carpal tunnel. My hands would fall asleep at night while I was sleeping and then cramp up when the blood started flowing again. I used the braces and got a cortizone shot in one of my wrists(Thats was quite uncomfortable) It worked! I didn't have to get surgery. I still get a little numbness in my hands but i can hang with it.
