Ok, the first time I've been proud in my 21 years. I guess I should have been clear about that. I can't feel a connection or personal responsibility to WWI or II, but I can feel the connection to this election because I was a part of it.
And that's not what I meant at all. I was proud that we were able to see PAST the color. I'm not sure how that got misconstrued? We were able to see through color and see what the person stood for and the change they could provide for our country.

If you've ever seen video footage of the sort of things we did in WWII you couldn't honestly say your proud of what the US did in WWII. The firebombings in Japan? I was embarrassed when I learned about that. But yes, I do understand why we did it and it was justifiable by some standards. Plus I don't like war, so that's not exactly something that I would look back on and be proud of.
