Great idea for a thread

There`s quite a few I get wrong like SkimpyJack
But even when I realise I`m wrong it`s hard to start saying it differently.

Oh, and I`ve only recently learned how to pronounce Eithne
( Sorry Icklemiss! )

What about avatars? Do they mess with your head too? For some reason I picture HopeHacker looking like Paul Stanley. Everytime I hear a KISS song, I think of her (seriously!)
What gets me is when I'm used to seeing one person with a specific avatar then some one else begins using the same one. I have to double check the UN to see who it is.

I just found one today! I always pronounce psjauntie as PS Jauntie and then i saw today that she lives in Port St John so it's actually PSJ Auntie!!

also, it took me forever to realize that emrldsky was Emerald Sky not emeraldski, like I thought she might be Polish

I imagine most are wrong via my mild dyslexic and dysphraxic brain...

Hey, I think everyone gets that wrong!

I do quite a few that have already been mentioned:
Mr Blanche; pj's Auntie = psjauntie; vallen hab = valanhb; cat-ta-ching = katachtig; snows rap = snosrap; and butzie will always be buttsy to me!!

Aside from thinking "Mr. Blanche", "katachtig" comes out as Cat Achtzig (German "80"), and "butzie" as "putzig" (impish or mischievous) in my mind. "fastnoc" seems too much like Fasnacht (Shrove Tuesday or Carnival), and "valanhb" always calls forth images of Prince Valiant. When I see "felineorc", I picture a killer whale with cat ears and whiskers!

Bnwalker2 is "barnwalker" to me.

Eilcon is sometimes "I'll con" and other times "eel con".

skippymjp is "skippy m'jeep"

Cool thread!!!

For me, if I know the persons real name, I automatically think of that and don't really pay any attention to the user name. However, icklemiss21 is still just ickle miss because I'm not sure how to pronounce Eithne
sorry

Probably at work :(
The one for me was lnbandcats. Didn't know if it was a capital "I" or an "L"; either way didn't make sense to me until I was lucky enough to be her Secret Santa last year. Then I realized her name is Ellen; hence--Ellen B and Cats.

It's funny to see how we all do this!
I've always said "barnwalker" for bnwalker2, and "cat a mint" for Cat Mint.
Until just now, I never knew "imunsie" was wrong!
lnbandcats - I've always thought of someone in a band with a bunch of cats.
Eilcon = elly con.

I read "snosrap5" as "snozz-rap 5"

There's also someone whose name I read horrendously wrong every time, but I'm having a mental blank on the username. I'll let you know when I find it...
I think it is ps wanita like anita with a w at the begining
