She is super friendly, but a little skittish. I am going to adopt her only after the vet clears her. She's an older teen. She has super distict spots, not connecting stripes. She flips her front paws like a big cat (couger, etc) when she walks. She has a pretty long face and a big nose compared to my other little girls. What do you think she is?

Are you sure this cat is a stray? Have you looked for an owner? Have you had her scanned for a microchip? She looks in good condition and has obviously been socialized by people. Please think Lost not stray!

This is the very reason most municipalities have laws that all strays must be reported or turned in. No one knows to look at your house for their missing cat. This cat could very well be lost from miles away and her owners desperately searching for her. Accidents happen and cats escape. In fact my old vet lost one of her client's cats when it got scared and jumped through the screen of an opened window.

This cat looks to be a Bengal or Bengal mix. Please PM Kai bengals on this site and ask him if he thinks she could be a Bengal. He breeds some of the best in the world.

If indeed she is a Bengal her breed alone makes it much more likely she is not a stray but an owned cat who is lost.

Yes, such things ares very possible. One example is our older cat, a stud at that time, did also fled from the vet... But was found three days later. This is b.t.w. some of the reason why I try to help strays and homeless: it is my way to repay the Fate for protecting him and bringing him back...

It is very correct of you Mopar to help this help-needing cat and take in her. The trick in all such cases is to simultaneously seek actively after the owner.
Adopt only if you DONT find owner.
