Poor Butt-zee....
I butchered her name, too.

IMO, mine are easy...fairly anyways.
Twitch, TigerLily, Dorian Grey (Dory or Dorky Fish), Molly, Eden *cough cough*... Opehlia Rose (aka ($*%&$_) )

Fafeena is pronounced...Fa-Feen-A. Goat-Head, Margo, The Chairman Squishy Meow, Moo Cow, Tabitha, Slinky Beach (she had another B word as the last part of her name for many years
), Tony Bob & Billy Bob.

Yep, I thought it was Buttsie too! I once had a cat named Socrates and my neighbor started calling him Socks/Sox. After a discussion, she said she was calling him Socs (he did have 4 white paws). Then I had Me and My RC, shortened to RC (pronounced Arse). And, yes, it was tongue and cheek.

My cats are all quite straight forward, Tobi, Theo, Jack, Mardy, Weeble, and Pudge. My other animals on the other hand are not so easy!

My horses are Rowan, Tia, Drayad, Joya, Gomer, Tink, and Shia
The goats are Celeste, Gwain, Gallahad, Uggi, and Frigg
The birds are Neha, Sitara(RIP), Sunil, Ina(RIP), Ewa, Dahl(RIP), Indira(RIP), Selkkie, And Asrai
And last but not least are the rabbits Sprocket, Boober, Mokey, Fluffanella, Lint, Stevie, Joni, And Brodi

Oh but we can't forget Pickles the pig!!

Holy poop I have a lot of animals when you list them all like that!!! I think I might be totally bug nut crazy!

Carly and Lucy are straight forward. Much is pronounced correctly if someone reads it but gets mangled to Munch or Mooch if someone hears it. They don't understand how a cat is named Much.

As to my name, Jana, I'm so used to it being mispronounced I answer to a lot of things. The correct pronunciation is Jan-a, but I have had heard Jay-na Yan-a, Jon-a, Janet, Jan. One teacher in college ended up calling me Miss M----- for the semester because she could not get it right and I was constantly correcting her.

My name is constantly butchered too. Meda is pronounced Meeda with the accent on the Mee... I get called Mayda, Media. When I give my name over the phone at work, it gets changed to Anita, Nita, Mita and such. I have stopped correcting the reps who call since they can never get it right.

Touche's name is pronounced "Two-shay" although the vet's assistant keeps calling her "Touch-ey."
I will refrain from making comments about her hair color.

Touche got her name from the little mouse on the Tom & Jerry cartoons that sticks Tom in the butt and yells "Touche, pussycat!"

I had another cat named Karma, which the vet's assistant (yes, same one) mis-spelled as "Krama" in the computer, so everyone was calling her 'Cramma.'

All my other cats had pretty straight-forward names: Harley, Roxy, Little Girl, Ono and George.

I'm in the mispronouncing Butzie group.
I'm glad you set me straight, it's much prettier with the explanation.

Stimpy and Lola are pretty straightforward but Nabu's name I usually have to explain (unless someone has seen Star Wars, then they are closer to the right pronunciation). It's pronounced N-uh-boo. Sometimes it's shortened to "Boo."

I love buttzee! that is a lovely way to pronounce her name! Villy and Roxy are pretty standard too. Villy already had her name when we got her, but when I'm on the phone people always think it's billy, or something different, as Villy is quite an unusual name.
Roxy is so named because she rocks - see! so it's rocks see!
They both have nicknames though, somehow villy has become Villy shmoo, although she doesn't respond to shmoo!
and Roxy has become Foxy, which I think she likes
I call her foxy because she has a foxy walk, if she was a human lady she would have a sexy strut!

Same here! Pretty hard to mispronounce Max, Molly and Maggie...although the vet's receptionist has misspelled the girls' names a time or too. Oh well...I'm actually the one with the weird name in the house. My first name is Kiel, pronounced key-el (long e, then short e) rather than Kyle. I'm a girl, so I hate being called Kyle!
But I'm used to my name being mispronounced.

Matilda is easy...plus I call her Tilly for short

And my other cat is Aramis. He was named after the Three Muskateers. Aramis is the muskateer who was a priest (and my cat is black and white and far from saintly) but people usually don't get that they think I named him after the perfume Aramis. I didn't even know that one existed until people kept on asking me!

BUT he is a kitty of many nicknames...and I often call him a range of names such as....Moo, aramoose, moose, moo cat, crouton, moooka....etc. I think he just responds to the sound of my voice.
