Tomorrow night I'm having a little Halloween party and I wanted to make something fun for a Halloween dinner. My sister and her youngest boy, Cooper are comming over for dinner and to help me pass out candy. I've also got a few Halloween specials saved on my DVR for him to watch. After dinner we were planning to walk him around our neighborhood so he can get candy. (Her other two children are in their church's youth group, so husband is taking the older two to the church party tomorrow night. Cooper isn't old enough to go yet, so I wanted to do something special for him here.)
Any ideas for a fun Halloween meal? I have no idea what to make!!
So far I'm planning to make my pumpkin fluff dip and serve it with gingerbread cookies. Everyone loves that.
My sister Kimmy said she's going to bring some cookies as well....so I think I have desserts covered.
I'm not sure what all I need for punch, but I do have a punch bowls, so I was thinking about doing something for that as well.
As far as a main course goes, I'd kind of like something that I can keep warm for a while so I don't have to worry about reheating it when we have to stop and pass out candy/etc. I was thinking maybe a crock pot dinner or a lasagna that I can wrap up in aluminum foil....but how do I make it more "halloweenish" ???? Any ideas?
